How do you get tone like the previews have on the gibson site?

I have a Gibson Les Paul standard and feel there is still something missing in the sound quality. Currently i have a Marshall Micro- stack, and a Fender princeton chorus amp, but still can't get the same amazing tone which is in the previews on gibson.com. I was just wondering if anyone had some suggestions on an amp with a really amazing tone. I was also wondering if anyone had any suggestions about effects peddles. I have a digitech right now, but it doesn't sound too good even with my les paul. Are vox peddles any good? Please comment! :>)
