So, here we go. my first blog on guitar.com
im gonna start out with what gear i use because i am having a bit of trouble getting my "Gear Recommendations" feature working.
Guitar : Fender Highway One Stratocaster (single coils)
Strings : D'Addario 11 gauge
Cable : Live Wire Advantage Cable
Amp : Fender Frontman 212R Combo Amp (100 watts)

i am very into playing the blues, i also like to play rock
errrr...
well today is thanksgiving day and i am pretty excited for the sale tomorrow at GuitarCenter
My List of things to buy includes the Dunlop Original Crybaby Wah pedal, a bunch of strings, some short connector cables, picks, and possibly a slide. I am going with my buddy who plays bass and who i sometimes jam with. He is upgrading from a practice bass amp to a much bigger amp.
I also really like those funk riffs with wahs and envelope filter type effects. I have been trying to recreate that lately..its pretty fun so thats it for right now.
I will write another blog tomorrow about the gear i buy and let you know how it is working and what i think of it.
