Daisy Rock Proudly Welcomes Jamey Geston to their Artist Roster Brought to you by: Daisy Rock

LOS ANGELES, CA – FEBRUARY 2011 - Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, the original girl-guitar company, proudly welcomes Jamey Geston to the artist roster. At the young age of 12, Jamey is already a quadruple threat as a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actress.  With an array of performance experience under her belt, she really knows what it takes to draw a crowd.

Jamey Geston Jpg 71391Inspired by her uncle Jeff Bridges, she has appeared in over ten motion pictures. She started singing publicly at age four, playing guitar at age eight, and has since participated in several singing competitions performed at farmers markets, festivals, special events, and showcases in Sothern California.  President and Founder of Daisy Rock, Tish Ciravolo was flattered by Geston’s love for the line of guitars and asked if she would like to come down to the showroom and meet the team, and Jamey accepted.

While in the showroom, Jamey expressed "These instruments are who I am, it’s what I like to play," she then proceeded to belt out some of her tunes accompanied by her Pink Sparkle Pixie that she brought in.  “Your alternative country folk sound has positive energy, and your charm attracts fans everywhere, and that’s what attracted us to you!” replied Ciravolo.   Before leaving the showroom, Jamey received her new Butterfly Bubinga, which she knew would be with her at all of her upcoming shows!

As a successful solo artist she has accomplished a lot with her music at an early age, including her songwriting skills as well as forming an alternative rock band called Retro Genius, whose members range in age from 12-14 yrs old. The band was featured and interviewed on the local radio station KRUZ 97.5 in Santa Barbara.

Geston is currently playing shows in California throughout February and March 2011. For more information on Jamey Geston and what she’s up to, please visit www.jameygeston.com or www.daisyrock.com/artists.
