If all glam was like this, I'd love glam. Marc Bolan was maybe the best ever prototype for a rock star; masculine yet feminine, quick of wit, and wrote lyrics on both sides of the "understandable" line. On this album, he's both light and playful (Jeepster), and deep and serious (Girl). Cool sounds and words from a time when recordings weren't as over-produced as now...and the grooves are maybe as good as it gets.
