I got my 1st real good bass in 1993 from KL-based bass wunderkind Cletus Godwin for RM1 400. It was a 1979-1981 (judging from the serial no.) Olympic White Fender Precision Bass. Replaced the original worn-out pots with Ibanez'; and the stock pickups with a DiMarzio Split P. Here are some pics :

Had to trade in this workhorse last year for an Ibanez GSR205 due to musical demands (got RM600.00 in cash too). It is now on display at the Kuantan Music Showroom, Kuantan.
