Brown Brigade Concert

So some of you may know Dave Browndsound from Sum 41. His new band, the metal/rock influenced Brown Brigade came to town and put on a solid show. But before them, 4 other bands played, and three of those 4 were kick ass. Ontology, a local band, had a sweet sound, and had a good cover of Paramore's Crushcrushcrush. Solidarity, also a local band, rocked out like they usually do, and had a kick ass show with tearing down some of the sponsor's signage (not on purpose). Lastly there was Hail THe Villain, a band from Oshawa. Wow, those guys knwo how to pump up a crowd. Whether I was in the mosh pits, or on the side with my buddies, you couldnt stop movin. I recommend getting their album cuz it definatly kicks ass. Finally, the main headliner, Brown Brigade. Unreal musicians, but also chillin people. After their unreal performance, my boys and me talked with Dave (guitar/vocals), Vaughn(bass/vox), and John (drums)..and those guys are chillin. I mainly talked with Vaughn, and man, he is one guy you definatly want to party with! So yeah, if you see these guys, dont expect to hear Sum 41 type of music, but exepct a real good show. Dave made a good choice of playin metal, cuz he can shred baby!  till next time, Cheers
