 My music recommendations
It's good. You are much better off having this album, than having nothing.
I'm still not completely sold on Rosenwinkel, but I do own this album and there is some good playing on it. "A Life Unfolds" however has the longest most boring intro to any song I've heard in years.
Frisell will never be a household name. He breaks too many rules. Jazz guitarists aren't supposed to play pedal steel, or write soundtracks for old Buster Keaton movies, or use effects pedals, or do covers of old Country music. Any Frisell album will break some rule. Last year's History/Mystery used fiddle players and some tracks didn't even have guitar solos. For me the standout track on F/C/M is "Mood." Finally somebody who realises that there is NO minimum number of notes required in a tune. If you want to trim it right back, use a chainsaw.
It's a bit long but I thought the days of extended died in the 70's, so I like music where the players get more than 2min30sec to develop an idea
 My Gear by farlow
I don't know why they have that stupid section for you to complete - Gear Recommendations - when even common items aren't listed.  They don't list the Epiphone 335 but they have a case for it.  Of all the Ibanez range they only stock a couple of microphone stands and some cable....
