Ha, thats awesome. The kids really developing the feel, picking is really coming along, how has he felt the stylus pick has helped him? I can definitely see a difference in his attack. All good, You should post up a comparision of two of his pieces, one he recorded a year ago, and the same piece today to really see how he's progressed. Great work Adam, and an Original!!! Great job!!!

Hey Sallan, the picks sure helped. That shape forced him to think about the issue of not over digging. Once he got that understanding he was able to practice it with any normal pick.

We have a new deal going recently. He's been invited to be on a TV show for kids. It's a Sat am show on the local channel. It's focused toward kids doing positive things with music. They even have a kid house band. He's scheduled to meet n great soon and is spotlight for March. Cool huh!

Here's an original with vocals. He surprised me with it a few months ago. Probably pre-stylus but not a lot of fast picking to compare.

Yes, brace yourself for the 11 year old vocal part! He's toying with a few of these worded originals lately. It's making for long hours in the music room. Not the bedroom these days. He abandoned that. It's officially the "music" room now!

Ha, it's true it's hard to slow down with that kind of enthusiasm. Eventually, his dexterity will catch up with the ideas, which are solid. I dig the vocal!!
