Axe-FX:Anyone else have one?

I got one a while back, as many of you know. I have a sort of 'love/hate' relationship with the thing. Of course, mine's an Ultra, and I LOVE the FX stuff, things like the violin patch, and the pitch shifting and whammy fx are insane.
Although, I find it a bit of a bitch to get a good 'cool guitar tone' on. I'm wondering if I'm at the point where I just can't see the forest for the trees. Everything sounds 'fizzzzz' to me...

So if anyone else has an Ultra, lemme know what you do. Leif suggested using plugins on top of the AxeFX ( Like in Logic...) But I prefer to get it right, right out of the box if you know what I mean.
