Downloading Drum Loops From Classic Rock Songs

Does anybody know if there's a site that has drum loops for classic rocks songs? I cannot program the drums on my recorder to save my life. It would be so much easier to just pay for a download, or possibly get them for free, of a song. I could load the drum track on to my recorder and record *my* guitar style to it. I surfed a number of sites, but all I saw was hip hop and generic rock styles. I was just wondering if somebody has something simple pre-recorded, say the drum track for "Back In Black" where I would just access the site, pick a song from a list, then download the drum track. Jeeze I need a freakin drummer!

Sounds like a business opportunity.

I don't know about just drums but there are plenty of backing tracks sites, some free, some about $1 each.

This one has Back in Black. http://www.jamtracks.ru/en/mpjam_rock_ac_dc.html

I checked the site out. It won't let me download the archive list I need, but I think it has something to do with this computer. I'll try it at work on Sunday. Thank you farmduck, I really appreciate the help. I think you're right RG, this is a good business opportunity! I wonder if a drum beat has a copywrite though. I guess so, but still most people would never be able to tell just from the beat alone. I'll bet you I could play just the drum track from a very popular song and most people would never be able to identify it, though I'm sure most musicians would.

Odd you should mention that, Minus Laxative. This week I was sitting outside and I had the music playing playing inside at a fairly low volume where I could only hear the drums and bass. I couldn't work out who it was, what song it was or anything. It turned out to be some tracks from the Deja Vu album by CSN&Y, which I must have heard a gazillion times, given I bought that album in 72.

There is another one you could try that has backing tracks and midi. You could load up the MIDI file and mute everything except the drums. I had this site bookmarked but I don't think I've used it. They have Skynrd so they should have ACDC.

I tried one for Highway to Hell. I just put the MIDI in Mixcraft and muted the bass. The drums don't cut in till 0:12

Man on man darmfuck, (I love spoonerisms), you hit the motherload!!! I must have downloaded seven different backing tracks. I can't wait to convert them to .wav files and load them on to my recorder. I have that site bookmarked! I never would have found this site if you hadn't told me about it. I thank you!! As to your first post, I totally agree! Put a drum track on here of a song everyone knows and I'll bet nine time out of ten nobody on this site would be able to name the song, unless it was something uber simple like the intro to "Honky Tonk Woman." I was able to guess the first ten of these, (or most of them), because they have such dead givaways. Then it just get's crazy. I don't know of too many people who can guess a song from just the first beat alone.

Well, here's the first one. I don't have the bass added yet. I also didn't put vocals in. I'm afraid that Bon Scott is a bit of a hard guy to follow.
