Epiphone Valve Junior Combo

Had a bit of wife approved GAS and picked this up at Guitar Center recently. I liked the tone and the fact it was tube amp.

Any opinions on this model or problems that I may face with it. Replaced a Line 6 Spider III with this due to volume swell issues with the Line 6.

Any mods you have done or heard about? Kind of wonder if I could use this like a head and run it through a 1 X 12 if the need ever arises.
