Help me start an afterschool highschool rock band club!

I already have a chill teacher who is willing to advise. He also does the jazz band
The problem I think I will have though is if too many people join
There's probably gonna be like at least 10 guitarists who sign up.
Should I have tryouts? And how many of each instrument do you think I should allow?
