LAID OFF!

Uncool. I was just laid off unexpectedly with absolutely no wanring. I walked in on Wednesday, and they're like "By the way, Friday is your last shift until October." I am soooo pissed. I mean, with some notice I could have planned for it. But I just spent a grand on maple flooring for my studio renovation.

...in other news, the maple flooring looks wicked.

I would have thought with all the music festivals and other things going on this time of year there would be plenty of work for you.

I still freelance a few times a week, but it's just not the same not having a steady paycheque.
