VOX AC30C2 Channel jumping and AB box

Hi all, I want to experiment with channel jumping. But I was wondering, before I start plugging stuff in, is there any way that channel jumping can damage my amp?

The way I have it set up now is my guitar through effects into an AB box, one going into the normal channel and one into the top boost so I can switch between a clean and overdriven sound.

Suppose I link the two channels, what would be the result if I plugged in my AB box into the remaining two inputs? Would the switch even have an effect on the sound?

I realize this might be a stupid question and I'm not opposed to simply trying it out and seeing for myself but I'm afraid of damaging my amp.
