if you had a bigger budget, it would be alot easier. to be honest, your not gonna get anything extra special for that kind of money. if you can get more together, then go try a breedlove.

We've had really good luck with Dean acoustics. Thing is, you need to play what's available locally. Don't order a low priced acoustic over the net. You could get lucky, but most likely it's going to be more trouble than it's worth.

Hmmm ok thanks. I've been reading a couple of stuff on the net and yeah, I've seen a lotta good guitars on the internet. But Xarkzila you advised me not to try ordering stuff over the net, so I'll try and find something available here.

Oh hey what do you think of the Fender DG100? Coz it seems pretty good from all the reviews, even a video review. A couple of them say change the strings coz they suck though, but otherwise it seems amazing. There has got to be something wrong with that guitar for it to be that cheap. Is there?

all we can do is name drop suggestions. its all down to what you like. you have to play some to figure out what you want/like.

In this price range there are HUGE variables between guitars. There may be as many as 6 in 10, (or more,) that aren't all that great. There are always a few that slip through and end up being better than the others of the same make and model. This is why I say play them and don't order over the net. You have a less than 50% chance of getting one of those that are better than the others if you buy bline. If you play locally, you KNOW how they sound and perform. If you walk into a shop and they have three identical guitars, PLAY ALL THREE! They WILL be different. Don't rush into your purchase. Take your time and be sure of what you want.

I have a Austin AU-506 that is pretty nice. the action is pretty high but i love the tone. It was orginally my brothers guitar but he quit and gave it to a friend who was an avid player and we got it back before we moved. I like it better than any other acoustic i've played. but then again i've only played like 8 acoustics, and none of them were top quality. Xark advice is probably the best you are going to get on this forum, especially on acoustics because i'm pretty sure thats all he plays. . .

I don't have acoustics by now. I have Classical and Electric. But go to a store and try several ones. Xarkzilla is the best PRO with acoustic guitars here on Guitar.com!
