There old stuff is especially funky Their new stuff is still good but it's a different direction musically but you can still find the funk in Stadium Arcadium with flea's kickass bass lines.

I've become a Chili Peppers fan of late. They have a unique sound and some really cool riffs. There haven't been too many [successful] bands that have remained together over the last 20 years. Especially w/ all the one-hit wonders that poured through the 90's. They've also remained true to their originalitiy, which you have to respect. I can see myself looking back and saying that they were one of the better bands in my lifetime....

If you guys like the RHCP's you should check out some of John Frusciante's solo work or his stuff as a member of Ataxia (one of his side projects)...I think its really top notch.

Frusciante's a beast, great players. The only weak link is the singer, and he makes up for it with his stage presence and charisma...

The peppers are awesome in my book.

No way dude, Anothy Keidis is one the most original singers that have lasted as long as the RHCP have. He has somthing that no one else has....his lyrics......his emotion. .........and i guess his stage antics dont hurt. lol they once played an entire concert wearing only a sock, and not on thier foot.
