Have you noticed its like Aerosmith has grown in reputation very much lately...? And then short after this start Guitar Hero makes a game only consisting of their songs. It's just happened so suddently. You can hear them in the radio almost every day over here. Is this only in Denmark. or is a Aerosmith fever spreading?

I'd bet Guitar Hero had a little to do with it, you'd be suprised on how much of an impact this game has made on society, it's madness. It's also making a lot of younger people listen to decent music and pick up real guitars, which is peachy.

Aerosmith has been around forever. They have also been popular forever. Maybe it's just in Denmark that it has been so recent.

Yep! I agree. Aerosmith has consistently been around since 1975 when "Toys in the Attic" came out. I think there are always going to be external factors that make a band's popularity rise and fall, but Aerosmith is here to stay! Sometimes a person goes through periods like that where you hear a particular band, or song quite a bit. I remember when Gary Hoey remade "Hocus Pocus" it seemed like the original song was everywhere for a while.

I've always heard them often on the radio, but the game most likely is helping. I think it's great for music though.. it's helping lots of great, classic bands reach new audiences.

Aerosmith's been around for a while, but they haven't been big all that time. They were really big in the late 1970's, then the drugs caused them to wane throughout the 1980's and into the 1990's. Then they cleaned up their act, and got some really excellent management and shot to the top again. Their marketing is probably the best in rock and roll (I actually used that term, I HATE using that term). They even have a ride named after them at Disney World. It's pretty nice, if you're an Aerosmith fan, you gotta go on that ride. Everything about it is themed Aerosmith.

Aerosmith is a rock and roll icon, much like the Rolling Stones. Though they haven't really done all that much in the last 10 years they are still a "household name" so to speak.

Dc, I've been one the Aerosmith ride a couple of times. It is cool!

I saw Aerosmith in 76' and man they really sucked! They came in stage after Lynyrd Skynyrd who had just blown RFK Stadium away. They, (Aerosmith), were off key, sloppy, speeding up and losing time. People were getting up and leaving in the middle of the show. I saw them again in 91' during the "Pump" tour. Whole different band! Everybody at the Capitol Center in Largo, Md stood up from the time they hit the stage, to the time they walked off. I think part of Aerosmith's mystique is that they were/are a Cinderella story. People just love that.

I saw them around that time too (91ish) and they were great. I used to be a big fan when I was younger but got bored after Get A Grip. Their stuff from th 70s is the best. Their first album in 72 or 73 was really good..

I'd have to say "Get Your Wings" is my favorite. I love "Seasons of Wither."

That was a great album, a lot heavier and darker. I think I really liked everything up to Draw the Line. After that it wasn't quite as good.

You could actually see it start to happen on the "Rocks" tour, the album before "Draw the Line." It was a great album, (Rocks), but they were getting so wasted, Tyler was collapsing on stage, Perry looked like he was in a coma. It's hard to imagine five guys spending up all that cash on heroin...and living through it.

Hahaha... its like the fashion... i hear it from everybody: "Hey... you heard of these guys... theyre old but actually quite cool". seems like everyone wanna be the first to discover that Aerosmith is cool music and thereby spread a new music fashion.. HAHAHA. Quite pathetic somehow. But fun.
