From the article: "Several years ago now, it was reported that if you played Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven song backwards you could make out ' satanic messages '. Using the above flash demo you can play the portion of the song forwards and backwards to decide for yourself. The clip is 100% genuine."

I've heard the rumor, it's cool to see/hear it for real. I wonder how many other bands have done this? I always feel like eating cheese when I hear Freebird..

That was awesome, surprising and disturbing all in one breath. There's a song by the DiVinyls that has a subliminal thing going on too.

I enjoy skinny skiing, heckling figure skaters, flamenco guitar, the blue stuff you put your combs in, good drummers, focaccia bread and coffee out of a french press

Its fun to hear all this backwards...very interesting.
Otherwise, people like to ruin things for everyone.
Whoever came up with this playing things backwards and hearing satanic messages stunt deserves a hefty kick in the face.

It's really weird how that works. It makes me wonder if they did it on purpose or not. Ad if they did how long did it take them to figure it out.

Haha, actually this reminds me of something me and my cousin tried once. He has a pedal with a loop function and reverse phrase on it, so we hooked up a microphone to it and spoke into it, then played it backwards. Once we heard how it came out, we tried to speak the reverse into the mic, and then reverse it again to see how it would sound, it was pretty fun, try it out if you have the gear
