Hello everyone!

I just had one of those moments today in the music store. I flew in from Brownsville, TX to escape the hurricane, and when I got back my luggage was on the next flight. So I decided I would go hang out in a music store near the airport for an hour or two.

I've been looking for a half-decent bass to be able to lay down some bass lines in my recordings with, and I found *the one* today. I was perousing their new basses, and off in one of the corners, sitting by itself, was an absolute mint condition Ibanez SRX390 in that cool dark blue jeans finish with binding. I couldn't resist playing it, because I have always liked how thier SRX basses sound. I plugged it into an Ampeg head they had, and was blown away. It easily beat any bass in the store for playability and punchy sound...kind of like Geddy Lee's growl on steroids.

I checked the price...$150!!! These things were $475-ish brand new! I jumped on that before someone else discovered this gem.

I've been playing it all afternoon :-)
