there are a million songs you can play with G C and D. those three chords will get you a long way. just dont shoot yourself in the foot by trying to add in the more complicated stuff before you are ready. one good example that comes to mind is sweet home alabama by skynyrd. that song is familiar to almost anyone who owns a pair of eardrums. there are lots of riffs in there to learn once you have mastered the basics but until then just go simple. it is just a D-C-G progression.

Take it Easy by the Eagles. It only has five chords they are pretty easy and it is great for timing. G D C Em Am

Seven nation army? You did say easy...

A few of the songs I first learned when I was starting out was "Snow ((Hey Oh))" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which may be a tad hard at first with the ending and "Be Yourself" by Audioslave, steady easy tempo and the bridge offers a small challenge because it's played low (volume wise) compared to the rest of the song.

I'd say About a Girl by Nirvana. Very easy song, and it throws in a little solo too ; ). http://youtube.com/watch?v=cLsLFnL-K60 here's the link to a video, but on www.ultimate-guiar.com you will find the full tabs. Very good song, in my opinion.

Good Riddance by Greenday was the first song I learned and Oasis Wonderwall is a cool song that any one could play.

Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple and I agree with Wonderwall and House of the Rising Sun. You can find most songs on You Tube.
