Hey can you post some easy solos to learn! Any Genre but prefered rock or metal. Thanks!

Temple of the king - Rainbow : is the easiest you'll find. Slow but has to be accurate in pitch bends, vibrato and timing.
Paranoid - Black Sabbath : Basic pentatonic. It's has fast passages and you might need to work on it for a while to get it, depending on your level.
Nothing else matters - Metallica : Not very fast but needs a steady hand.
Sanitarium - Metallica : 1st, 2nd and 4th solos are melodic and not too hard I think.

Off the top of my head that's it...

I would say learn a few of these, they started me and I'm playing lead all the time now, I love it...
Metallica- One (the first solo during the intro), it's nice and slow and none of the licks are all that complicated
Ted Nugent- Cat scratch fever, it's all pentatonics stuff, super simple
Jimi Hendrix- the wind cries mary, lots of double stops and hammeron pulloff stuff, really only one tricky lick

then when you're ready move onto these...
Pantera- cowboys from hell, fast, but really simple licks
Van Halen- running with the devil, repeating lick, tricky slides in it..

I rarely learn solo's note for note (prefer to improvise) but here are a few that I found to be either fun or easy to learn note for note...

Nothing Else Matters - Metallica
Crazy Train - Ozzy
Easy like Sunday Morning - Faith No More
Sign's - Tesla
Hard to handle - Black Crows

Improvising is more fun... but if you gig cover songs the audience may expect to hear certain licks within the solo. Otherwise it's just not the same.

If you play alot of blues then you are usually expected to improvise all the time.

There's a nice easy solo. System of a Down - Psycho.
And i love Metallica's solo from the song Nothing Else Matters. It's not realy fast at all.

Yeah, but with the main riff of Smells Like Teen Spirit you might need some help to sound like the song. Ask for help if you need it.

them bones by alice in chains
its a very easy song. it look me a while to get the
solo but its a great and easy song to play. also
try laid to rest by lamb of god. theres no solo but
its a cool song to learn.
