ahh, seek and destroy by metallica. no one would teach me anything else and I didnt no how to use the internet yet, so I just had to practice the same song for about a month. I didn't even know the words "chord, scale, palm mute, etc." until about six months into my playing. You can bet I have that one down, though!

My first few months are a little blurry... I can tell you my first tunes but I can't tell in which order I started learning them or in which order I succedeed with them.
Leaving the beginner jingle tunes aside, I think I first tried to play "My Girl" - Aerosmith. I was also learning either "Strange Kind of Woman" or "Long Live Rock'n'Roll" :) . But I think the first song I nailed was... *suspense*... "Paranoid".

It was a song called What am I Living For... kinda blues like.
Don't know who originaly made it but Taj Mahal has made version of it.

It depends, are we talking about signature riffs or entire songs? Even though it is among my first tunes, Smoke's solo is harder than it looks if you care to sound like the original.
