Nice to have you on board! You'll find members who don't even own a guitar as well as many, like myself, who own far more than we probably should! Aside from that, there's lots of good information passed around here. If it has to do with guitar, you'll get an answer from someone. I lean more towards the recording end, myself. Just when I finally figured out guitars can be expensive, I found something that's even worse...

Welcome to guitar.com! If you are a guitar equipment junkie (guitars, amps, pedals, etc), this is the place for you. We also have experts in just about everything. Ask me about maple syrup sometime.

Michigan's my home state. Where you at, brother? I grew up near Port Huron (East side) and lived in GR for six years. Now I am in the cultural mecca of the Midwest: Chicago.

Man, it breaks my heart every time I go back. Michigan's economy is now 49th.

I would have to say, Welcome to the fold where every guitarist meets up, where it doesn't matter what you play as long as you play it loud!!!! Play on brother.

Guitar buying is a disease. Once you play different kinds of music you gotta have another guitar to sound the best for the kind of music you play. I am up to 8 so far and 2 amps and a wah.
btw:welcome!

It's true... thewn you get into the idea of recording your ideas, andthe obsession spreads to microphones and recording gear, then you want the whole band to sound as good as you do so you buy up some wicked drums and buy a house to put it in and you are poor....

...but happy, if you can just find the monies to get that one more thing...
