Hey can anyone suggest some easy rock songs that i can learn??? I've been playing for about a year and I can like tap, palm mute, hammer, pull-off, and I know most chords, but my problem is that I hear a song and say "hey that sounds easy" then I look up the tabs and I can't do it!! So if anyone here would be kind enough to suggest some songs that are easy to learn that would be fantastic.

Aint Talkin' 'Bout Love by Van Halen is pretty easy. Back in Black by Ac/Dc is fairly easy. The two obvious ones are Iron Man and Smoke on the Water but hose would probably be too easy.

Brain Stew by Green Day. It's painfully easy.

Thin Lizzy's "Cowboy Song" is really fun and pretty easy to work your way through. None of the riffs are too hard to play, and the first solo is pretty much a textbook example of a rock solo, but sounds awesome. The second solo takes a little more work, if I remember correctly. "Boys are back in Town" is a another good one that'll get you working on your bar chords, and "Jailbreak" is just a fun song to play.

Jailbreak is really just an essential guitar album. Easily some of the best harmonized guitar work in rock, and the music covers almost every style you can think of. Buy it (or download it) if you don't have it already. It will make you a better person.
