HELLO GUITAR DOT COM!!! It's been a very very VERY long time since I posted. I've been basically destroyed over the summer and just haven't had the time to get on here, but I'm back now. Just so everyone knows. I knew a few folks were worried. So, I've started working again (and going to school, which is a killer), so my eternal guitar love is within reach...the Gibson LP Goddess. I'm freaking excited.

Well, I WOULD be purchasing the Goddess, but it is discontinued. Anyone know where to get one? Otherwise, I'm going SG. It's lighter than an LP, but not as pretty.

Hey Liz! You might check Ebay for the Goddess. Other online stores might have one in stock if it's just recently been discontinued, so check them too.

When I clicked the "buy" link, it took me to Musician's Friend, which no longer carries the LP Goddess. I was thinking of checking out something from the Vixen line. Same basic idea as the Goddess with a different finish...lighter weight, thinner body. But, that doesn't say much, since standard LP's are freaking monsters in the weight department. I'll probably end up going with an SG and get it painted up all sexy.

Thanks for the warm welcome, folks. :o) No kid, unfortunately. That's one of the reasons I wasn't on here for a while. We had a second trimester miscarriage, which is highly uncommon and extremely difficult to deal with, both medically and emotionally. But I'm okay now. Thanks for the info on picking up my Goddess, the Holy Grail of women's guitars. I think they discontinued them a few months ago, because I seem to remember Gibson taking them off the site when I was still in school before the summer. Too bad they did that. Now it's going to be more expensive, I'm sure. Worth it, though.

Thanks, guys. Like I said, it sucked but I think I'm okay now. On the bright side, my husband and I now get to mate like rabbits to try and conceive again. LoL
