Here is another from Morgan City. There is a shrimp boat in the middle of the road. This is pretty unique.

Brookfield, IL - We have trains.... we have Brookfield Zoo (best zoo I know of)... and a great little italian Trattoria (10 table restaurant) called Trattoria Gemelli with hand made pasta and a great owner.

And I think we are know as 'tree city IL' or something similar. Google it if you care.

Well, you'll get typical pics of Athens on any travel site thingy, and google and stuff, so there's not much for me to do here.
I don't like where I live (surprise?...NOT) so I don't go about taking pics... All I have is a couple of my neighboorhood on special occasions, like the sunset in the previous thread, or when it snowed... I can't find the snowed pics (maybe they predate my digital era, I got postcard material photos from downtown but they're in printed) :/ so here's another sunset for now...

I actually live in the suburbs in London, but here's a pic I took a couple of weeks ago in Oxford Circus. Note police cordon, and crazy guy dancing in the middle of the road. Right now there's building works opposite my flat, so that wouldn't make a great picture anyway.

HEY! That picture was taken in Illinois!

Spent a summer building a church in Lake St. Louis. Chapel of the Lake. Funny thing was when one of my subcontractors started the original building on fire. All the news people were looking for someone to rag on so I locked myself in the construction trailer and immediately after calling my company to let them know what was happening, I called a local radio station and requested they play "Smoke On The Water" for me. When he asked why and I told him, he busted out laughing and played the song. I just figured my resume would read, "Last job: Burned church," and I'd never be working again. Considering the previous project, where I flooded a mall in North Canton, Ohio, I figure it all balanced out.
