I'm Drunk. And also Allan William Irvine Esq.

Been here and there. But mostly here. Coming up to a year and a bit with no parole.

I live in a dump called Belfast in Northern Ireland, its the only place in the world where you can have a beer and a shoot-out in the same pub then share a taxi home to your opponents house for a party and some music.

I will find a picture of me that doesn't scare old ladies and small children and post it asap.

I'm Alex, been here for I don't know how long, but a while

I go through phases where I play a lot, then play not at all for a long time, just coming back into the playing phase.

You can find my stuff here:

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=726676

Edit: and just a side note - Is it just me or does soundclick have the worst user interface or what? (was just adding a song and took forever to figure it all out)

Hello. I am known as Waltz, but my real name is Brandon. I've been on and off here since 2007. I know things have slowed down on here, but I gotta say that they are in a very civil state at the moment. Everyone on here is super helpful and this is such a great community. I do miss Satan and The Rocker. Anyway here's a pic of me playing a gig with my band Ready for Paint

Hi, I'm Tyler

I've been on the new G.com for about 2 years now and used to be on old g.com as well under a different name but don't ask what it was because I don't remember...probably some reference to the Steve Vai tune Badhorsie as that was a common username for me back then on a lot of sites I frequented.

I live in a small but growing city called Moncton in New Brunswick on Canada's East coast.

Musical style is mainly hard rock, but I've also dabbled in jazz, blues and classical music to varying degrees. Besides guitar I do have a bit of experience with keyboards, bass guitar and vocals (although I use the term singing rather loosely) and someday wouldn't mind taking a crack at either saxophone or clarinet.

Waltz, I have to say I miss seeing those guys around here too; especially Satan. He was crazy as hell, never knew what he was going to post and always had a new piece of gear to show us. Must have been nice to have all that disposable income, but I heard the reason he's not around is because of some sort of financial trouble...laid off from his job or something. I hope it wasn't all the gear he was buying and that he's been able to dust himself off enough to keep from selling all those guitars and amps he had.

Splurged for the Hendrix Amplitube software and interface this morning, after a call, and a sound clip from Chilcox.
Nice tones, hope to have it for next weekend.

Hi guys,
I'm Brian from County Tipperary in the glorious Republic of Ireland. Came from London originally via a complex route. Been learning guitar for 45 years and still cr*p at it. I have been lucky enough to own some classic guitars in my overpaid and undersexed youth.
I found g.com from a google search just a couple of weeks ago, for anyone talking about TC Ellis guitars (thanks Alan.)
I'm Lurcher by name and nature 'cos I'll hunt down anyone daft enough to have a different opinion.
Currently I'm technically blind, awaiting Waterford hospital to find where they lost my notes and get their fingers out and mend my eyes.
Current and future projects are:
Record a CD with my wife who sings and plays flute.
Form a band called The Silver Hoard made up of pensioner musos who don't want to grow up.

I'm Shane.

Member sine circa 99-2000. I actually used to have an email address through the old guitar.com, if that gives anyone an idea.

I am in the US Army and currently serving overseas, so my time here is limited at best. But rest assured, I have a guitar with me and I play it quite often. In fact I'm hosting an open mic night in two weeks.

I went to college and majored in music performance, met the girl of my dreams, discovered the dream was a nightmare, broke off the engagement and then left school. (I was in a pretty bad state physically, emotionally, mentally, etc because of all of this). I decided I needed to grow up, so I joined the Army hoping a drill sergeant would kick my butt into shape. I think it worked.

And there you have it. When I get back home, the game is on. My brother and I have been trying to get something together for the longest time, and now is a great opportunity to do just that.

I've been here almost 12 months. I live in Sydney Australia. Ive been playing for 42 years. I had some bad spending binges this year and I have about 23 guitars. I don't have a favourite, I just pick one and play it for a week, then pick another one. If I win Miss Universe my first step will be to declare World Peace and to outlaw beige. I will also spend billions of dollars in the Third World teaching people how to accessorise - hey just because you're starving doesn't mean you have to look like a tramp!

I'm Frumsapap, (Papasmurf), real name's James Murff, wich is (Frum Semaj), backwards. Any who, been here for about 2 years now, can't recall. But I have had a lot of fun on here. Lots of great conversing back and forth, a little banter, a lot of good good stuff. Oh, and I have been playing guitar for about 15 years this year.
