I don't think I have a favorite guitar, but I would love to have a Steve Vai signature Ibanez too, it's a nice combination of Strat and Superstrat.

A guitar that not many people know of is the yamaha rgx 112. Extremely light and it sounds like a metal guitar is supposed to sound.

Ibanez RG320FM...my original Ibanez and the one that got me hooked. I modded it with a pair of Evolutions and a 3-way switch (I like to keep it as simple as possible...that "super switching" thing Ibanez has is cool, but just not my bag).

My new RT650 is pretty sweet...all I need is the new pickguard and it'll be playable (it'll still need a fret job done but meh)

Right now, it's my Gibson LP Standard. I wanted one for years and then I have to wait until I was an old fart to afford one. Worth the wait though. I love the sound, the neck, the shape, and the color. Excellent, excellent choice for me.

I've purchased three guitars in the past two months: a Martin SmartWood OM, a Larrivee SD-50, and a Taylor 464CE. The Taylor is without doubt the nicest twelve-string I've ever played: great tone, great tonal range. The Martin is the finest guitar, acoustic or electric, I have ever played. It is exceptional, even for a Martin. Rich in tone; very expressive. But the Larrivee is my favorite. Why? Because it's the most fun to play. The fretboard is broad, so it's like playing a classic quitar, but with steel strings. Plenty of room to move around.

I'd rather play guitar than do anything else on earth. I may not be great at it, but it's what I do best, and I can absolutely lose all sense of time and of myself when playing the Larrivee.

The Frankenstein is amazing but the scary price tag, I go for the strat I've always had a certain thing for it. Its great for playing almost anything and don't think you need a Steve vai jem to shred it can be done on a strat look at Yngwie. I also especially like Tom Morello's Soul Power Strat
