I want something classic, yet flashy and new. And still something that wont sound horrible. I am Think i am going to Use Ash, unless yall think i should use a different wood.

Ash is a good choice. An important thing to remember here is the size and weight of the body. Take some measurements of different guitars and model your body to be similar in size and weight, but, of course, different and flashy! It's not all that difficult actually. A bit of band saw work, a LOT of sanding and routing for wiring, pots, switches and pickups.

Good luck and post a pic when you have it done!

thats a really cool project.... im assuming you know that the measurements of where the bridge is positioned and the neck pocket are EXTREEMLY precise, the pickups, and pots and such arent near as big of a deal.... but there are a lot of things to consider whewn you are making it, such as if you want to use a tune o matic style bridge like a gibson has, you will need to angle the neck pocket about 3 degrees for it to work proerly, and all of that.... it is actually quite difficult to do in a precise mannor your first time, but you have 3 months, and if you work at it, this thing could really rock! just make sure you do your homework on the subject first!

I just considered the body when I responded, but SATAN is right. You may actually want to turn it into a useable piece of art! Buy yourself a neck. Bolt on would be easiest. There are a number of places you can buy just a neck. Carvin is the first that comes to mind. I built one of their guitar kits for my son. Ash body as well. Having the neck on hand could make the body construction go a little easier too.

Ash is hard, and heavy, but it should have great sustain.
Make sure your tools are sharp.

^ Mind turning caps lock off?

Here is some small advice. Before you start carving the real piece of ash, practice the routing and sawing procedures in detail on some cheap wood planks to get the hang of it.

Well I collected a fair amount of money, The wood cost 50, Neck cost 50, and the hardware cost between 50-100.
Cause i want this to be my new guitar, since every guitar seems to lack what i want.

I am going to A guitar store this weekend to take measurements on guitars that i like.

i have been sketching, and i kinda got something at the moment that looks like... i dunno, it reminds me of a Phoenix. ill re-do it and show you guys, but its still not what i want, i want something hardcore, yet has that Classic Elegant look.

As for the bridge i have no idea, i am open for suggestions on that one.

UPDATE:

Well i got A design which when i draw it well, ill post. All i did was look at the guitars that i was inspired by and made mine off there designs. it looks cool :)

So Suggestions on the actual guitar parts?

Q(Do pickups have to go in up and down? or can the be slanted?)

you need to keep in mnind scale length, and the fact that you already have a neck, so your scale length has already been determined for you. as for a bridge, i would get a standard fender flat mount. it is the easiest to design for for your firs one. make sure it isnt the tremolo one, and that it is a flatmount. and if i am thinking of what you mean by "slanted" pickups, yes you can slant them, but be warned, most that you see on guitars that are already slanted have a modified pole spaceing that realigns the poles with the strings. but, you can still do it if they are not, just look at eddie van halens Frankenstein guitar. one other tip, to find the aproximate scale length of the guitar, measure from the nut to the 12th fret of your neck, and multiply it by 2. and when you are arking where to mount your bridge, set the string saddles all in the middle of their adjustment range, that way you will have maximum adjustability for inotation when it is mounted. and who gave william cook -1? my god, does the caps lock really matter that much?

Satan, so you are saying cut the neck slot and mount the neck before making any other cuts or drills for bridge placement?

Also, pickup placement, is there a way to determine the best location for the pickups? Seems like this would be important when you consider how a string actually vibrates. Is it?

yeah, the pickup placement is extreemly imprtant for the TONE, but not the pitch that the guitar makes. i was just concerned about wether or not his guitar would make the right sounds at the right frets! and yes, i would rout the neck pocket before i placed the bridge, this way you can get an acurate measurement. and for god sakes, dont use a ruler or normal measuring tape. you can get 24 inch rules that are EXACTLY PERFECT measurements down to a hundredth of an inch. invest a few bucks in one! also, just as important as having all of the previous measurements exact, is making certain that your bridge and neck are in perfect alignment with one another, if they are not, then you will have stings that fall off of the fretboard!
