I like the Classic Crybaby. Not sure how much it sells over there or on ebay. It was pretty expensive over here but there's huge difference in prices anyway.

NOTE: The crybaby "Classic" is not the standard Dunlop crybaby. It is a model of its own and I like it better than the simple crybaby.

The classic puts in use a previously discontinued inductor and is supposed to sound more like the "old days" so dunlop charges more for it. I just like it's voicing better and don't give a damm for the story behind it.

I agree. The Dunlop's are good solid units. Most sell for under $100. The Vox is voiced nice..kinda old school sounding. The newer ones like the Morley sound good but it's more expensive..plus I don't like the 'feel' of it. Rocktron makes a great sounding, pretty well made one for $69. The one on my pedal board right now is a Dunlop Cry Baby Classic.

I like the Crybaby in a rock type setting, but I would have to go with the Ibanez Weeping Demon when playing metal. Its nice.

I have one of those too.

Between the Weeping Demon and the Crybaby Classic I can't make up my mind on which is best, so often I have them both in my chain. Each has its strong points and its weaknesses.

u can pick up a Steve Vai Bad Horsie used on ebay for well under $100. That's what I have. I happen to love it's feel, and sweep. It's built like a tank too.
