From the CD store? Itunes? Tuneflow? I'm just curious here, lemme know where you get it, eh?
If you DO buy your music online, why? Is it more convenient? If you don't buy your music online, also why?

I purchase almost all my music from amazon.com. A lot of stores such as Best Buy doesn't have the older ones in stock that I like.

BestBuy, BlastBeats.com, ebay.com and WalMart.com.

I'll go anywhere that has the product I want at the price that I'm willing to pay.

I buy individual songs from walmart.com, but CD's from the other places.

Online, mostly Walmart.com...I like to pick and choose songs, I don't get into entire albums anymore because they end up being 60-70% crap. I listen for a good song.

Interesting. It's Itunes for me, pretty much exclusively. I didn't know Amazon sold digital music, duh I should have realized!
How much a month do you guys spend on music, just out of curiosity...

I LOVE VINYL!! And I'm not ashamed to admit it. I love neighborhood mom & pop record stores and I think it's a shame that so many of them have closed lately. Now a days I shop at Amoeba in Hollywood when I have money to spend...I have to stay out of there if I want to keep out of the poorhouse (lol). I'm one of those few techno-retards that still doesn't have an ipod...someday, I guess, just so I can be cool...

At the store. Internet transactions, while more convenient are an excuse never to get off my ass from in front my screen ever again. I can always use the break and the walk to the store.
Plus if I buy an album I want it on hard material with sleeve notes etc.

Generally at Bestbuy or strawberries(although i hate strawberries cause they over charge ya) But if i'm looking for a particular tune and don't want the whole album then i'll go online and grab the tune from Sprint, yes Sprint, the cell phone company.

It has been my experience downloading tunes that sometimes the quality isn't there due to bad connection, server issues or for some other reason. plus if i am gonna pay X amount for a CD i want the actual CD in my posession

I used to buy music, but now I don't do anything but steal from musicians. I get the greatest satisfaction from thinking about how much time, heart, and soul they put into the creation of their art and then how much money they spend on recording, mixing, mastering, hiring graphic designers to create the album art, distribution, etc. only to have an asshole like me steal from them.

Sorry, let me put my dripping satire to cool on a separate plate. I buy music from digital retailers but if it's an artist who I have an affection for I'll by the actual CD for artwork and to get the album notes, players, engineers, etc.

It drives me straight up a tree when I hear people say, "music should be free, advertisers should pay for it...blah blah blah". So basically what these fine thinkers are saying is that we as a people, a culture, should be free from obligatory support of our artist community by making that support the responsibility of some other party. Really? I WANT to support artists and their forms whether musical, print, sculpture or otherwise. I feel like it's my obligation because I have consumed something that has made me think or feel something that I might not have otherwise.

I think I'm going to go to a restaurant tonight, have a meal, and then tell the proprietor that the advertising on their web site should pay for what I've taken.

I enjoy skinny skiing, heckling figure skaters, flamenco guitar, the blue stuff you put your combs in, good drummers, focaccia bread and coffee out of a french press
