electric guitar, acoustic guitar ... why not bass?

I mean, except for the domain name, it is a place that looks welcoming to all sorts of instruments players... The very spot in our profile where we get to chose the (primary) instrument we play is suggestive of that (the "other" option).

So I think a bass forum should exist, like the old G had before it got on the highway to hell. When the site gets populated bassists will come too.

Maybe a more general forum should exist, intended for talk concerning all other instruments one might play. I know I have recorder for example, and some guitarists play drums and keyboards too. Where are all these topics supposed to go? Or maybe they are not welcome ;P

Yeah bass should be here, must have gotten overlooked. Agreed we need a more general forum as well.

I vote a forum for each major instrument in a modern band today: the Guitar, the Bass, and the Drums.
