I have just read the rules and it doesn't state anything forbidding me to ask about rype..

I know this must sound like a broken record by now but looking through search for rype there are messages over a year old saying its on its way.

Is it going to be much longer?

That's hard to say. RYPE is a pretty intricate undertaking. Last I heard from Jason, it's become the focus and that's why we're not seeing a lot of management action lately. They're pretty much all buried in the development.

Hard to keep saying, "Be patient," since we've all been pretty darned patient so far, but to mirror the already broken record. Be patient. They're working on it.

Talk about a broken record :P ...

Rype is a pretty ambitious project and I'm not surprised it's taking them forever. I'm not even sure if it's still their primary focus, seeing as they have to earn a living too...
Anyway, it was due a year ago (or more, I have lost track of time) so we have gotten pretty used to not thinking about it at all.

Go take apart a set of walkie talkies while you're waiting. That'll give you something to do.

Honestly, I for one am happy that this site is around for the chatting and storytelling and studio/gear/playing talk. I kinda wish that they'd say Rype was cancelled and then surprise us when it's actually done.
