Ok, I know the old G.com listed the the last like 10 users that posted in each thread.. but I was thinking when people are looking at the list of threads in each forum, under the 'Last Post' category next to 'Creator' we could not only list the date of the last post, but the username and the avatar of whoever made the last post.

So now, you have the avatar and name of the creator and then right next to it you have the same with the person who last posted in that particular thread. Two pictures right next to each other, boom-boom: easy for people to relate to. Get rid of the list of users who posted in the thread all together, it will save space and could show more threads on one page. This could simplify things greatly.

Sorry for double posting but I need to get this suggestion out before i forget it and I can't seem to find any way to edit my post. When someone makes post in a thread I think it would be a VERY good idea to send the thread back all the way up to the top of the thread list in each forum. This indicates whether the thread has a new poster instead of trying to search for the thread and see if it does. If you don't quite understand, when a person posts something in a thread, the thread should 'jump' up to the #1 slot. If there aren't any new posts in the thread for a while, the thread will continue to move down the list as new threads are being made. If a thread has long since died and is way way way way down, pages back even, and someone posts in it, then again, the thread should be able to 'jump' right back to the #1 slot. And so on.

Awesome job on the thread display! I will suggest one more thing that I think should definitely be changed about the display though. I see G.com has moved the last poster's avatar as well as the creator of the thread's avatar to the right of the thread name. I would suggest getting rid of the creator's name and avatar and JUST include the last poster's name and avatar. The creator's avatar is already posted on the left hand side, so there is really no need to post a link to the thread maker's profile twice.

Also, where it says '# Comments' and under that it says 'Last Post: 03-12-2007 04:30:40' or w/e, you should move the date of the last post next to the last poster's avatar to the right. So where it says 'Last posted by: (avatar under)' stick in the date of the post next to the picture or something.. just to move all the information about the last post in one small area.. and remove the date from under the comment counter. Right above the thread creator's picture, on the left of the thread display, you could include 'Created By' as well i guess.
