I'm looking for a digital delay I think the boss DD7 looks like a good option, any opinions on others would be good, I'm a bit of a skin flint now the credit crunch has kicked in, which is a pseudonym for recession?....

I just got a Boss DD7 and I love that pedal! I've had problems with Boss pedals in the past, but this one more than makes up for it. I truly believe a decent delay pedal will cost you a little bit more than most folks want to spend, but I think you get a lot for the money on this one.

Nice one Fred.

I have a problem with Boss aswell, but only the distortion pedals, they seem to be middle biast and harsh sounding, but I have a ce3 chorus and it sounds great.

I have the CE2 from like 82'-83' and I still use that pedal. The Boss "Heavy Metal" pedal that I have sucks! It sounds like it's coming out of a metal bucket.

I think their PR department probably made the recommendation to remove "bucket" from the product name. Cause who would buy the Heavy Metal Bucket pedal!

Yeah, Fizz, I had a digital metalizer what a crock, you know when it's crap 3 days after buying it you still cant get a sound out of it that doesnt attract all the dogs in the area. I swear, that thing interfered with aircraft.

Just so you guys know...the distortion pedals do tend to be cold and artificial sounding. Check out Robert Keeley's pedals. I have all of mine modded by him and they sound *amazing*.
