That settles it, I just tried one of these bad boys out today (A friend bought one...) and I'm BLOWN away. It's easily one of, if not THE best sounding/feeling fx processor/preamp I've ever played.

Headin' over to E-bay now to ditch some stuff, methinks...

Awesome unit Scott,

But at $1500 and $2,500 give or take for the standard and Ultra, I think its a little out of my budget!!

Do Ebay allow you to put up a kidney???

It is an awesome unit. The only reasons I got the X3 pro instead was the price, and the ability to record vox / bass.

Heh, I can already record both of those. Price DOES stand in the way, to be sure, but I'm gatherin' up all my crap I don't use, some I do use and I'm cleanin' house! hahaha The tracking on the pitch shifting, and some of the synth patches it has ALONE makes me want it badly... The amp modelling is disgustingly good, and I do mean DISGUSTINGLY good... Feels like a damn amp when you're plugged in direct... Maybe THAT's what I like? lessee, the interface for programming patches on your computer is wicked... Hot damn. I want it even more, now...

They're on sale at $1999.00 or something right now, and I'm definitely gonna get the Ultra. I'm sort of stoked about this. Hell, I even went out and got a job so I can chip in if I have to!

Father, a Kidney should be able to getcha 3 or 4 of 'em, with which you could buy a used kidney off of Ebay to replace the old one. Not as good, but at least you'd have 2 kidneys, and 3 or 4 Axe FX's...

I've two kidneys, so maybe that Caparison isn't as far out of reach as I first thought.

Mmmm....Caparison....

I prefer the Dellinger series. I'm split between a fixed bridge and a Floyd on these gutiars. I imagine I would go with a Floyd.

Has to be the Applehorn for me Shane, I'm a big fan of Mattias Eklundh.

All those lovely extra frets to play with would be awesome, not to mention the top grade pickup. ( I think there only is one!)

Not sure on the colour though, hmmmmm, bright orange or grey??

Haha, yeah........my Dee thinks I have a tree out back with some bills hanging off it.

I guess if you want something bad enough, you will sooner or later get it by doing what you have to. And that Caparison will be mine someday. By the time I get it arthritis will have buggered my hands but I'll play it with my feet dammit!!!

On a serious note though, if and when you do get that Scott, give us poor g.commers the heads up on it, sounds like its gonna be wicked from what I can tell from this European gimp ----->

Bugger has a JPM too.......
