Hi guys!
I would love all of you mighty guitar geniuses out there to tell me a little about this guitar...
I just got it as a present from my Dad, because I couldn't bring mine home (risky in a plane).
Apparently it is a Keiper, but I really don't know much else. It sounds very good though!
Thank you so much for your help!
XxXL.
Ps: I am very sorry if this is in the wrong forum...

The man DOES rock!!
I'm really growing fond of that guitar!! The sound is really sweet (litteraly) and her good looks don't hurt either...
I feel like I'm cheating on my Fender though...What if she doesn't want me anymore when I come back to her?
How do you guys with 15 guitars deal with the situation???

It's like women.... You play them all and don't let them see each other. Or, for the more adventurous, you play them while the other's watch!

We all have our favorites and I play mine more than the rest of them, but I do play the others. For me it happens because of recording. Different guitars provide different textures, so I play the others for that reason, AND to make sure they're always up to snuff, in tune and good to go, you have to play them regularly.

Your Fender is a different guitar than the other, with different sounds and a different feel. Just think of it as a different boyfriend. You'll go back to it from time to time and will enjoy the differences.

That looks like a jazz guitar. You can either bop with it, or venture into some Ted Nugent territory. He rocked with a jazz guitar.

All you should need is an ATA Guitar Case. These cases are rated for airline travel and should adequately protect your guitar. I've actually had a couple of these cases smashed by the airlines, but the guitars inside were fine. The airline then has to buy you a new case!

Wahahaha!! I was waiting for someone to make that joke!
Xarkzila, I was more under the impression that beginner should stick to one guitar, until they know how to make the best of it, then upgrade, or get something completely different, hence my feeling of cheating.
But if an expert says it's ok...

LOL... You'll naturally find yourself hanging with the one you like best. Having a second guitar will help you find out faster what you do, and don't, like about EACH instrument. You'll gravitate to the one that is most comfortable for you and as you learn, you'll develop your own style. Your favorite guitar will help to dictate that style as well. Don't worry so much about what other people play, or how they play it. (Lessons of course are a different story.) Concentrate on learning technique. Always be reaching for something just a little bit harder. You will reach a point where you'll find that some things may be easier on one guitar or the other.

At least you're not this guy I knew in NY who owned a guitar store. Had all these photos of himself as a kid with all kinds of different guitars in his room. He opened a guitar store and you would think.... No... It was true. He NEVER PLAYED!
