Has anyone seen or tried one of these things? It looks *very* promising for a good metal sound...

Oh, that DOES look promising doesn't it? lol Me likey... Nice clip, pretty 'aunchy' sound, eh?
25% to 50% is downright nasty, eh? 75% is gain from hell... Pretty defined sound actually. I'd have to try one out...

I'm thinking that thing with the gain set to about 50% and some good EQ would be killer. Throw a Keeley TS-9 in front of it, and you could probably do anything you want gain-wise.

I don't even play that much metal and I want one. I can't get anything like that from my Boss distortion pedal. Do you know around how much they go for?

It looks like about 230-ish USD, from what I can gather on Google. Heck, I'll try one and give it a good 7 day test drive. Worst case scenario is I return it and get my money back. ;)

I was looking for a new pedal anyway. The one I have just doesn't have it. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm in the same boat. I have a Keeley Metal zone that sounds WAY better than a stock one, but it still sounds artificial to my ears. I don't have the dough to shell out for what I really want (Mesa Dual Rectifier loaded with EL34's...mmmmm) so I was thinking about getting this and "channel switching" between my Legacy's preamp section and this thing.

I don't think I'll sell the Metal Zone though...it's a good pedal, I've just outgrown it.
