OK, I'm looking at some of their stuff and after hearing some clips on the web, I'm definitely interested. Now, I know this stuff's expensive, so I'm gonna have to really do some investigating/researching...

I'm thinking a Flexi-50 sometime before next Christmas... Anyone tried one? Or better yet own one? If you have any of the THD products, I wanna know about 'em...

Here's what I want; Gain, clarity, tone... single channel head I can use with my pedals AND by itself...

Hey Now!

I played a THD Univalve® and thought it was pretty intense. Just expensive but the benefit of great tone is inspiring in the studio, on the stage, and while your writing.

I enjoy skinny skiing, heckling figure skaters, flamenco guitar, the blue stuff you put your combs in, good drummers, focaccia bread and coffee out of a french press

Except "your" should have been "you're". Please don't throw me in front of the grammatical firing squad...

Yep, the price tag is downright ugly, that's for sure...

I worked at a THD dealer here in NM right up to the point that the Flexi 50 came out, and I LOVE their stuff...all of it.

I liken their amps to the mad scientists' approach to modeling: instead of chips full of amp emulations, build amps that allow true hardware modeling! Plug in some 6L6GCs, plug into an open-back cab, and get down on those TWIN tones! Switch to a closed 4x12 and some EL34s, and it's Marshall time! Throw in some mellower 12A tubes in the front end to color the tone...you can play with the things forever.

I've seen their facility in Seattle, and it'd do mad scientists proud. These guys LOVE guitar gear, and approach everything they make from a player's perspective...whether it's the "instant class A" Yellowjackets, the Hotplates, or their growing amp line. While I tell everyone to select their gear with their ears first, I can say tha THD is one company that will always send the buyer home with a fantastic addition to their tonal arsenal.

The THD Hot Plate is the absolute shizzel.

I would imagine their amps similarily kick ass.
