I was replying to a comment on my weblog Guitar Noize regarding carrying a guitar around on a motorcycle and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for a good compact travel guitar?

Steinberger, or one of those Mini Strats like EVH and Vai have.

Fernandes used to make one that looks like a bean with a neck..LOL. Has a built in speaker, headphone jack and runs to an amp. It also has built in effects that weren't the greatest but for travelling around it might be just what you want. I've thought about one for when we go on vacation...my wife would like me to leave my guitars at home, but I can't go a day without practicing!!
