It has always been pretty slow to respond for me, but it has gotten worse lately.

Those tranquilized slugs get everywhere. LOL HEHEHE

It takes 20-30 secs to me as well.

Can anyone fix it?

its been slow for me lately too, but not everything. the times i have noticed it most are when im trying to enter the forums using the icon at the top or when i click on something contained in the " real time activity " . when i do other things, it seems to be faster.

yeah thats been the prob for me too. i first thought it was my connection but im at work right now where i have high speed and its still a little on the slow side.

Glad you mentioned this because I thought It was just my computer.
Sometimes clicking the forum link at the top does nothing. Sometimes I have to load in a new page to get it to work. I hope there is a solution for this.

I frequently end up browsing other web sites while I'm waiting on the g.com things to load.

I've tried to start two different threads, both from two different computers. Neither of them posted. I was working on a reply to one of the threads and the whole thing just disappeared. i tried to email to the "contact us" link, but they never replied, or they never got through. I don't know what the deal is.

I know this is about the site being slow, but has anyone else had problems posting a new topic? It won't let me do it at all. Very vry frustrating. And the site is slow.

I had that problem in the "Issues or errors..." forum. But it was temporary and everything works now. I don't at all experience anything being slow. Being on the backbone might make a bit of difference. (I'm next to a backbone UNIX server so no network to deal with. It's as a direct connect to the internet as you can get.) Even with all the company filters and blocks, this site responds great. Remember, the internet is just a huge network and how you're getting your data, and how many switches it has to be routed through, will make a difference.

yea it does have take forever

Site is dogshit slow.

Only problem I had was that it kept randomly logging me out when using Safari at home.

guess im lucky. i haven't had any problems with it yet.
