The New Spaghetti Noodle Incident (JTC)
http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=126043 Anyone want to re-record this as a guitar duet with me? I don't want to change anything, I just want someone else to play the trailing guitar.

Sound clip with the SG
This is put together rather in a hurry. Simple stuff. One rythm track one lead track. I gotta say I'm very happy with the neck pickup (lead). I could use some more brightness from the bridge (rhythm) one in general though and both of them are quite dark in clean but the neck in thick dirt OWNS. :) http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8284898

jazz guitar tabs
I've been asked to play a community event with a local celebrity, she wants to do the Frank Loesser tune " What are you doing new years eve" but she wants to do it how Ella Fitzgerald did it (sultry/swing). The music I got starts it in F, but I think Ella did it in G#. Does anyone have any idea where I could find an accurate tab/ music for this? T...

So I was reading guitar player, I seen a bit on him, then I looked him up, dude pure awesomeness this guy is insane after reading about him too. Reminds me of Chet Atkins but a rock/jazz over tone, seriously they style of playing is so cool to me the more I hear it. check out the way he switches from pick to finger style, I am gonna try and...

music/guitar careers and colleges
Does anyone know any good or fun music careers? Or especially like music colleges? I play guitar and have a somewhat decent knowledge of musical theory. I'm in my schools steel drum band and get pretty good grades and whatnot and live in cincinnati. Any ideas for me? i'm just curious.

Found these lyrics...
I was digging around on an old hard drive from the computer I resurrected for my music room and I found these lyrics I wrote a long time ago and forgot about. I was thinking maybe someone would like to work on turning it into a song. Maybe recommend a chord structure or something. Feel free to add or change the lyrics to fit. Once it's a song w...

Is Dance music really music?
I had a furious backlash to a comment I made on a popular music site we seem to all know and love. Ok it was iComp. They asked for criticism about this 'song' and I gave it, thats where the problem started, haha. To me its bullshit, one reply said they were musicians just like the rest of 'us'. By 'us' I'm guessing they were talking about gu...

Cherry Poppin' Daddies have teamed with Gibson to release the SG Zoot Suit - read more here - http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Lifestyle/Features/gibson-usa-sg-zoot-suit-911/ What do you think? Truth is the band has so much to show for themselves besides "Zoot Suit Riot," they just put out two albums. The first is "SkaboyJFK: The Skankin' Hits of...

thoughts on the future of Rock and Roll
i would like to see what everyone thinks about the future of rock and roll. you know2, things come into popularity, and things go out of popularity... we had a good many years of wonderful rock and metal, and then, just after grunge, the misguided youth of our nation gave up their guitars and drums for samplers and turntables. do you think rock wil...

Music from This Dying Soul
Well, I finally got around to putting some of my music somewhere so I can share it with you guys. Padre, since you're a Cort fan this may be of interest to you as the recording has Cort instruments all over it...although I feel the guitar tone would be much better if I were to record this over again today, that's only because through experience,...

Improvisation vs Composition
What do you think about these two approaches to music? I've heard some excellent compostions by people like Satriani or Vai but at the same time I've heard thematic development in an improvised solo by gypsy players like Bireli Lagrene or Stochelo Rosenberg that could rival them. What do you say:do you prefer music created in the heat of the mo...
