35 percent heavy metal songs have Satanist content - "expert"
‘Having researched 700 most popular heavy metal songs revealed that half of them is about murder, 7 percent is positive about suicide, and 35 percent preaches a variety of Satanist ideologies,’ Kondratyev said in his interview published in Rossiyskaya Gazeta daily on Monday.

Too bad they didn't include a breakdown song by song. How else am I supposed to plan my evil-doings?

That's brutal. And so what, it's lyrics. If someone kills themself (or someone) they were bound to anyway. Not like a song can make someone a psychopathic killer. I think it's cool. It's the individual freedom of lyrics in music that makes it so fun.

**another shrug** Parental authority figures have been shouting "the sky is falling" about music since time began. By way of example -- my momma (rest her soul) caught crap from her momma (rest her soul, as well) about seeing those "horrible big band groups" in the 1940s.

I have these really super-christian relatives, and they believe if music isn't God oriented then it is Satanic. Really, I can't have respect for their beliefs because 1, I don't believe in their religion (ha!), but mainly 2, it to me that if they are so Holy, then couldn't they simply listen to the music without fear of being possessed?

No offense to your relatives...man I'm a Christian myself, but if they're really like that, well, that's not Christian at all.

Jesus hung out with all sorts of people that might be considered "bad". Murderers, Thieves, Cheaters, Whores, Liars....the truth is you can't go on as a Christian if you are constantly condemning anything NOT related to it.

It's no different than the Catholic church of the middle ages. Anyone that disagreed with them, whether right or wrong, was a heretic and was burned at the stake. That's wrong, any way you cut it.

1)They wear pirate shirts...
2)They drink rum
3)They listen to Madonna (Dead giveaway...)
4)They bring leftover goat/virgin blood to work for their coffee breaks...
5)They happily await the slaughter of all Christ worsippers, and they TELL you this (Usually over thanksgiving...)

The only way weed can mess up your head is if you do it multiple times a day in large amounts for years.

That's probably why it took so long for them to have any results. (Must have been expensive buying all those munchies too)
