Hello,

Guitar.com is a lot different from when I first visited.

Just saying hello. Below is my music on soundclick. Mostly blues, jazz/experimental stuff. A couple classical piano tracks for good measure. Music is my favorite hobby.

Button Blues strikes me as a huge fly buzzing around a room and against the windows, trying to find a way out... The rest is quite nice actually. I like the easy going vibe. I have a feeling some of the tunes lower on the list (before the piano tunes) were more like noodling around than fully-developed ideas...

I really liked the First Time Blues track you did ibzRG. It's got a great delta blues vibe going.

Button blues was more of a tone experiment... there's a button on my SX-100 labeled "blues" that I was trying out, hence the title. I couldn't help but laugh at the fly comparison. Those last two before the piano tracks were just running through the pickup options on my guitar for tone samples.

Believe it or not, I'm really into metal too. I was in metal/rock/death/speed metal bands years ago.

Badassery In Progress is sounding like your making some excellent progress! I like the overall tone and eq of the guitars on that.

With my current guitar, having three single coils, I'm not getting a tone that I like for metal. I'm planning on getting a dual humbucker guitar soon so I can work on some more metal sounds. The other reason I've kinda backed off metal is because it has been a long while (10 yrs) and getting back the chops for good metal rhythm playing takes more than I realized/remembered.
