Instant Karma is the title of a two disc set to benefit the Amnesty International Campaign to save Darfur. One of Lennon's most famous post-Beatle tracks "Imagine" is done by Avril. I guess I have to applaud the producer(s) in their choice here...to take one of Lennon's best known tracks, have a teen idol sing the tune, and get money out of the hands of the mall dwellers and into the hands of the people that truly could benefit from it because, "Hey Avril is singing that song I heard once by that old guy."

I enjoy skinny skiing, heckling figure skaters, flamenco guitar, the blue stuff you put your combs in, good drummers, focaccia bread and coffee out of a french press

Avril sings imagine? hmmm. I wouldn't know. A lot of those artists rarelly make it onto the rock station I listen to. Now that it has apparently received tons of complaints about straying away form the path of rock and was forced to re-orient itself in a more vintage rock direction again, such occurances will get even more rare.

Maybe I should punch a search on youtube?
