I'm a big fan of Gypsy Jazz. This is Stochelo Rosenberg, one of the more prominent musicians of the genre. Take a listen if you get a chance.

I'm surprised that no veteran users have attacked you verbally for posting such a general question. Can you spacify what kind of music you're looking for? Are you looking for music to listen to or music to play? If you want suggestions for music to play, are you a beginner? You really have to be more specific in the questions you ask on this forum, because you'll get a thousand different answers, and maybe none of them are what you're actually looking for. Plus, I'm sure if you keep postig such vague questions, someone who's been posting here a while is going to rip into you for clouding up the message board with questions that encourage a billion responses. Just a word of advice.

Glad you guys seemed to like it. I could only wish to have such monstrous chops. aside from Rosenberg, there's alot of great musicians out there today who play in the style of Django. A couple of other names would be Bireli Lagrene, Angelo Debarre and Fapy Lafertin.

dcunning30:

I recently bought a Gitane guitar that is Maccaferri-style at a fraction of the price of a Selmer or a Dell Arte. It's a great value for the money. I bought the DG 250 which has the smaller hole but I believe they have a D-hole model as well. Ebay usually has a few of them.
