Looks like the DC Madam was found dead in her mother's shed. She had the names of all her clients on the hill, and there were supposed to be some pretty big names on that list. The Florida police say that there were suicide notes on the scene and they were in a woman's hand writing. She could have wrecked careers of some of the most powerful people in this country. What do you folks think?

She killed herself before she died. Whether some government official had his hand in it at the end or not, she set the wheels in motion by choosing her path and clientelle. She was facing a fair amount of prison time and some people can't handle that. Lots of folks have offed themselves over far less judicial punishment than she was facing. Some don't even wait for the courts. Sad thing, but speculating on this is best left to the conspiracy theorists who, apparently, have all the answers...

I expect she killed herself. I read a report that she said she won't go back to prison. So if she's looking at doing time, there's only one way for a person in her position with her resources, or lack thereof to keep from going to prison.

....as a matter of curiosity, what's to become of her customer list?

I really don't know if she offed herself or not. Hanging seems a bit unusual, but it happens. If that list gets published I'll be inclined to believe she did it herself. If it disappears, or certain portions disappear I'll have my suspicions.

Well, this is an interesting situmacation. I assume she offed herself. If she didn't I wouldn't know, and personally I don't have any opinions about it. I am so away from reading news stories or watching the news. Too many opinions, not enough facts.

1. If you were to commit suicide would you do it out behind your parent's house in the shed... NO, you plan your death so it is either dignified or found quickly. If the report is right and she DID write the note, she would have done it in a more planned manner.

2. 55 years for getting paid to make people feel good? Really, it's just a call girl service! Get over it, we are talking about a service for guys who's families live across the nation and wanted a little pampering while away from home.

Cover up. she was murdered. that many powerful people with careers at risk? definitely murder. besides, hanging? nobody does that anymore unless they do it to someone else to make them suffer, or to make a strong visual statement. The way you kill someone can have a huge impact on anyone they know or anyone that knows who did it. but then again im a sucker for conspiracy stories.

If I were one of her customers up there on Capital Hill, I'd probably be quite relieved about now. I think if I were going to kill myself over something like this, I would be quite angry at all those powerful people who relied on my services then turned their backs on me. Those names would have been xeroxed, placed on the web, and handed to every media outlet there is and maybe that will happen, but till it does I'm open to the idea that she was murdered.

Here's another call girl connected with the case who just happened to kill herself.

This from Drudge:

"One of the escort service employees was former University of Maryland, Baltimore County, professor Brandy Britton, who was arrested on prostitution charges in 2006. She committed suicide in January before she was scheduled to go to trial."

The real shame is that her happy little business was a crime, when are we going to wake up and realize that you just can't make prostitution a crime. It's and old business and no government has ever been sucessful in stopping it. A fact that should be apparent when the law makers, chuch leaders, and so many others avail themselves of the service.
