I grew up committing most of Zeppelins library to memory. There was a time you could name a song and I could usually tell you the album and track (that is when vinyl was still the most popular media). I didn't really try to memorize them, I really listened to their music that much; every album, from beginning to end. I know, I really needed to get a life. But what can I say? I was a teenager with allot of time on my hands and a love for hard bluesy music. I wish now I had spent that time learning how to play, rather than listening to Page play, but here we are. I was reading in NME news that Page and the boys are looking at a tour next year. Although I no longer consider myself a Zep fanatic, I would like to see the show. I missed out as Bonzo died just prior to the only tour I would have had a chance to see. I saw Plant during the Now and Zen days. He covered some Zep and it was good, but I would really like to see Zeppelin perform live as a band. I am sure the tickets will be expensive and hard to come by. Anybody else out there jonesin' for a Zeppelin reunion tour?

Last I heard, Plant was devoted to theis collab with Alison Krauss and wasn't interested in a reunion in the forseeable future. Something about him not wanting to sing that kind of music anymore. Then LZ was going to tour without him and take on the singer from Alter Bridge. That's the last I heard about it.

Yeah that was the gist of the story I read also, but apparently Bobby changed his mind when he heard they might tour with a replacement.

I'd go see them, but I wouldn't go crazy trying find a ticket or anything. I've paid $100 max to go see concerts where I know a decent amount of the band's repertoire, Chicago, Eagles, Van Halen, I figure I'd pay about the same to see Zeppelin.

Oh, I would pay like $300 to see them. Another one of them is porbably going to die before they would go on tour again after this.
