From what I understand, the government is going to buy all the assets that the financial institutions are stuck with because of bad loans at a reduced price. Then once the market is unclogged, they will sell them. They will probably be HUD homes and be at a very good price. Time to buy some rentals!

The money should go to the people, why bail out a failing business. put the cash in the publics hands and let us spend it. All the CEO's, Director's, VP's, should be fired as part of the deal. No severance no financial help what so ever, and we shall see if they can make it on less than a 6 figure salary.

the ceo dickheads have thier multi-million dollar homes and thier 6 week vacations, probably staying in the same $2500.00/night hotels as our politicians,while the common public are working overtime to pay thier everyday bills.
