Here's my picks:

1) Killians Irish Red
2) Newcastle Brown
3) Samuel Adams Octoberfest

Also, if any of you are living in the Dayton, OH area, I got assigned there with my job for 9 weeks. Drop a line if you care to jam or something.

Killian's Irish Red
Bass
Sam Adam's

I had a buddy just give me some homemade beer two nights ago. I haven't tried it yet. I asked him how many blind dogs he had running around his yard. He said none so I guess it's safe.

I see Jason like Heine. It's a great beer as long as it's below 44 degrees, otherwise it gets pretty skunky.

Fat Tire. Made in Ft. Collins, CO. One of the absolute best microbrews around.

I'm not a mainstream beer drinker. (In fact, I'm not much of a beer drinker at all. Usually get blind stinkin' drunk on the ONE beer I have Monday nights during the football season! Yeah, I'm a lightweight, but didn't used to be.)

So, out of the mainstream...

Old Rasputin - I love dark beer if I'm going to drink one. This one is 9%
Maudite - Triple fermented in the bottle. 8%
1554 - A dark brew from the folks who make Fat Tire.
Butt Head - A Tommy Knocker Brewery creation.

That's awesome. I'm a bit of a lightweight myself. As you can tell from my picks, I usually drink more for the flavor than for the effect. I've actually never really been "drunk" at all...nothing more than very relaxed.

I've never been hung over either.

Slash > me.

Lucky... I HAVE been blind stinkin' drunk, but it's been a lot of years and I never enjoyed the day after. For whatever reason, I don't go home thinking, "Can't wait to have a beer!" I don't mind the taste, and Monday nights during football season we try something different every week. There's only 4 of us and about half the time I'll have a beer, which means that one of the other three will only get one beer that night. None of us are heavy drinkers, but the other guys will drink far more than I do, since I drink nearly nothing.

Example: A few years ago two friends from across the street came knocking on my door in early March. They said, "You have two beers in your fridge and we want them!" Huh??? How would they know that? "Well... You bought a 6 pack at Christmas!" Yeah, so? "Well, you drank one, Robbie drank one and I drank two, that means there's two left!" Damned if he wasn't right!

I enjoy skinny skiing, heckling figure skaters, flamenco guitar, the blue stuff you put your combs in, good drummers, focaccia bread and coffee out of a french press

Thought you'd be more like W. C. Fields. He used to say that he wouldn't drink water because fish fuck in it.

I'm off in 30 minutes. But not being a beer drinker... I may have to imbibe in a different vice!
